Prof. David Roe
 
David Roe, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, a Professor at the Department of Community Mental Health at the University of Haifa and director of the Center for Community Mental Health Research, Training, Services and Policy. His research focuses on the psychosocial processes of recovery from serious mental illness, stigma, routine outcome measurement (ROM), and the evaluation of interventions and services.
 
His research has been funded by several local and international sources, including NIMH, Israeli Science foundation, The Israeli Ministry of Health, The Israel National Institute for Health Services Research and Health Policy, the Israeli National Insurance Institution and the Tauber and Rich foundations.  Dr. Roe has published over 140 peer reviewed articles, 20 book chapters and co-authored three books.  He serves as associate editor for the Journal of Mental Health, BMC psychiatry and Israel Journal of Psychiatry and is on the editorial board of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal, American Journal of Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Stigma and Health, Journal of Clinical Psychology, Psychosis and Social Welfare (Hebrew).
